Robin Hood’s Bay – lies in the parish of Fylingdales in Yorkshire. This is one of Yorkshires best kept secrets. A pretty village that has an incredible beach, set in a sheltered bay on the beautiful Yorkshire Coast. A great place to spend a quiet afternoon with the family. Not too long ago bay was known to have been used by smugglers, and there are reputed to be underground passages underneath some of the old houses in the village which lead down to the beach.

Robin Hoods Bay Beach - With its backdrop of craggy cliffs and sweeping views round the bay, this is a popular destination for day trippers and dog walkers. At high tide the beach is largely submerged by water, but when the tide is out, an attractive, small, sandy beach with rocks and rock pools is revealed. At low tide the cliffs and rocks around the beach are popular with fossil hunters. Ammonites, belemnites and footprints from the Cretaceous and Jurassic Periods are plentiful.
North Yorkshire Off Road Centre - Rover 4x4 Off Road Driving Experiences here at the spectacular coastal off road course. The site has an amazing variety of terrain, giving plenty of opportunities for both new/novice drivers and more experience off road drivers to enjoy themselves and face a challenge. Also junior drivers from age 10+.
The Robin Hood's Bay Ghost Walk - Take a Unique Tour through Streets and Alleyways as you listen to Tales of the Strange and Supernatural set against a background of Smugglers, Sailors and Shipwrecks, Folklore and Legend.
Robin Hood's Bay and Fylingdales Museum - which is situated in the old Coroner's Room and Mortuary. This small museum in the heart of the village houses fascinating collections and displays of local interest. From 1900 it was used as a Reading Room for the people of Bay.
